Počitelj, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Počitelj is a town on the bank of the river Neretva to the south of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was built during the Mediaeval and Ottoman periods. It suffered extensive damage during the Bosnian civil war and is now protected as an important example of cultural heritage. These photos were taken in October 2011.
