I am a novice at photography and I thought using a blog would be a good way to learn what works and what doesn’t when taking photos. Every post will try to capture somewhere I have been or something I have seen, I will try to let the photos tell their own story.

Most of the photos were taken on my very basic point and click digital camera, a Fujifilm FinePix Z35. Occasionally photos were taken using my phone (which has an even more basic camera), generally when I came across something to take a picture of and didn’t have my camera on me.

Update 2015 – my new phone has a better camera than my actual camera, so any photos dated 2015 or later will be taken using my phone.
