Riesenrad, Vienna

The Riesenrad in Vienna, Austria is one of the oldest ferris wheels in the world. It was severely damaged in World War II and subsequently rebuilt with only 15 of the 30 original gondolas. The other gondolas are used as cases in the museum exhibition on the history of the Riesenrad. These pictures were taken in June 2010.
